It’s a great annual event to raise awareness on several levels (as well
as people watch and have a marvelous time), so add this event to your
calendar as a “Must DO!”
As in the past, the Motor City Bears will have a table there as well
and will be actively getting the word out about our little group here.
Pool Party, Cookout & General Monthly Meeting Pool Party: 2 PM / Cookout: 3:00 PM / Meeting: 8 PM

This month, we’re going to combine three
activities into one and MIGRA is going to join us!
What happens when you take a pool party, a cookout, a meeting and
some cowboys put it all together in one place on the same day?
Why it’s an entire day of laughs, splashes, great eats, and bronco
bustin! (OK... maybe three out of the four!)
This is going to be a joint event with MIGRA, who will be graciously
providing the burgers, dogs, buns and condiments, and we encourage
everyone to bring their favorite beverage as well as a dish to pass
based on the first letter of your last name. Your cooperation will help
assure that we don’t have too many of one item and not enough of
another.
A-F: Picnic side dish G-M: Salads, cheese, deviled eggs, dip trays etc. N-R: Desserts S-Z: Snacks, finger foods etc.
Everyone: In addition to your beverages and dish to pass, be sure to
bring a suit, a towel, and a lawn chair or two.

Who says bears can’t have fun at an
amusement park? Some of our members are planning to make a weekend of it
at Cedar Pointe, so why not join in the festivities?
The unwritten rule to proudly display your lifestyle is to wear a red
shirt, but in a pinch... a Motor City Bear shirt will work just fine to
get your message out there... if you want it to be.
