Well guys, it's that time of year again. Yes the holiday season is just around the corner and another year is almost done. We don't have a December meeting so come on out and party with the Bears!

This year for the holiday party we are planning a buffet style dinner at a great restaurant and an after party at Scott and Rob's place (Novi) after the dinner. The restaurant has been around for years but recently moved into a larger building. It is very good authentic Mexican food. We will have an area of the restaurant setup just for us.

The minimum donation for the dinner is $15.00 for members and $20.00 for non
members. All extra proceeds goes to the MCB general fund to help us get back into the black. That includes everything listed below including taxes and tip. We will be collecting money (cash only please) at the dinner.

We do need to hear from you if you are planning on attending. The restaurant will have us set up in one of two areas depending on the group size.

Buffet style authentic Mexican Food including:

Salad - lettuce, tomato, cucumber and onions (ranch and Italian dressing)
Tortillas
Chunky beef
Enchiladas (chicken)
Enchiladas (beef)
Tamales (pork)
Rice
Beans

Desserts
Cake (Carrot, Yellow and Chocolate)

The chunky beef and tortillas give you the flexibility to make a burrito, Mexican sandwich or just eat it plain.

Soft drink included, coke diet coke, sprite and coffee only Cash bar will be available if they get their liquor license (Working on transferring it from the old location.)

We are also doing the Secret Santa gift exchange at the after party. So if you would like to exchange gifts with your fellow bears please bring a wrapped gift. Let's try to keep the value to about $10. Secret Santa brings a lot of fun to the gift exchange and a chance to maybe steal that gift you really want. The gift thing is totally optional, either way just come on out and hang out with the bears. We will have pop at the house and some snacks. Please remember to BYOB.

DRINKS

We will have pop and ice. Feel free to BYOB.

Other

* Our house is about 1350 sq. ft. so it may get cozy. The living room, dining room and foyer form a great room so that should help.

* Please no smoking in the house. We have a deck and a patio outdoors. You are welcome to smoke out there.

* Please do not bring anything stronger than booze. No drugs inside or out.

* We do have 2 very friendly long hair cats
