This is in the Westland Mall parking lot. This has been a good
find with lots of good food at a good price. We thought we would
do this one before the meeting as it is just off of Warren rd. So
after dinner is a straight shot to Diamond Jim's.
The place is large so fitting us in should be no problem but we need to

Our general meetings are discussions of past and upcoming activities
mixed with club business and socializing. If you want to know if we're
the club for you, come check us out. Guests and visitors are always
welcome. Generally speaking, Diamond Jim's Saloon is located on Warren
Ave., one short block east of Evergreen in Detroit. It's right by the
Comerica Bank, and you can use their parking lot.

What is curling.
Let me tell you "eh". It is a fun sport that you might have seen
on Canadian TV "eh". It is like table shuffleboard on ice with big
pucks and two people with brooms ahead of
the puck I think to speed it up a little

The bears are going to bring
out the Canadian in them at the Detroit Curling Club in Ferndale
"eh". We
will follow this with a dinner. (More details coming)
There will be someone there to
teach us the game and work with us

They do this all the time for people who don’t know the sport

have room for up to 20 people and space is on a first come first get
basis "eh".
We have two sheets reserved for two hours

year MCB is again taking care of the members buy reducing the cost to an
unbelievable $20.00 with an open bar! in addition to a sumptuous
meal like only Mama Mia's can do, we're planning some special
entertainment activities that are a special secret

Non-Members - $30.00 (insert your own message here as to why
non-members should join ;>) )
Final Reservation Deadline: 1/21/08
RSVP through Yahoo group. We must have a head count of how many are
coming in advance. We will not be able to accommodate many last minute
requests. Payment can be made at the dinner but we need your RSVP.
If you are on the attendee list then payment is required even if you do
not attend. We are charged by the head count that we call in, not
by how many attend.

International Auto Show/ Lunch 11:30 AM - 7 PM (EC - Rob B)
Now that
you had all that great food at the anniversary party lets eat some more
and then check out all the new cars at the Auto Show! Here’s the plan:
We meet in Greektown at
We’ll have lunch
then take the People Mover to Cobo for the Auto Show. This is the last
day of the show so it closes at 7 p.m. The cost of the Auto Show is
$12.00 per person. We can get a group discount if we order 25 or more
tickets Group discount tickets are $8.00 each.

treasurer@motorcitybears.com to let us know you are coming so we can
get a head count for the restaurant.

We have a new discount offer

offered to get us tickets through his work. The tickets must be paid
for in advance to get this deal but it can save you a few bucks. So
